"PIRATE QUEENS"
"Pirate Queens" - a new show of Compagnie Aquanaut. Their stage is a traditional sailing boat, called Lovis. Tour stops in Denmark: Egernsund, Sønderborg, Assens, Haderslev, Fredericia, Bogense, Kolding, Fåborg, Svendborg und Ærøskøbing. I'm on board again on June 15-25, 2009.

Slowly the theatre ship is sailing along the coast of the Baltic Sea. Through the creative work of the ship crew all reaching ports are transformed into a marvelous stage scenery. The ensemble creates a lively composition of theatre, dance, music and contemporary circus to an entire artwork. Artists show spectacular performances nine meters above the ground while acrobats, jugglers, dancers and musicians entertaining on stage. Everything is existing just for the moment of a sunset. While the first sunbeams welcome the day the ship has already started its dance on the waves of the blue Sea.
